Just moved to Hampstead Village making this pub my new local. Checked it out last night with a friend and had a few of the most amazing pizzas I’ve ever had. Decent selection of beers, but the food is where it shines. Try the antipasto starter, which is essentially a meat and cheese platter on a pizza crust. And 2−4−1 pizzas on Mondays and Tuesdays!

UNFORTUNATELYTHISPLACEISNOWCLOSED*** Probably one of the best pizzas in Hampstead and it’s not a chain! We’ve only eaten twice here but both times the pizza was delicious. Good bar as well especially if you can get out a seat out front on a warm(ish) day and people watch. Would be nice if they played some newer tunes instead of classic rock all the time. Cool bar staff.

Outside of Italy this place must vie for the best traditional pizza going. They are wood-fired with a thin base and the freshest of ingredients. Eclectic mix of people — many of whom were there for the drinks and cocktails iso the food(due to the timing of our second visit.) Cannot recommend highly enough to others and certainly cannot wait to go back up to Hampstead for another scrumptious pizza. Cool art for sale and which is changed regularly too.

Visited this place on a Monday evening with 3 friends. Got there around 7 and the place was full. Got hold of the one empty table that was available. The place seemed to get less full as the evening unfolded. Seems to be a place where some people stop off for an early evening drink and meal and then go off somewhere(maybe the local cinema)…around 9 pm onwards tables became free… The atmosphere was fairly lively. The music was quite good and even prompted a few customers to sing-a-long to Frankie Valli’s ‘I can’t take my eyes of you’ towards the end of the evening. One of the distinctive features of this pub is that it serves pizza. The pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven and they are very tasty. They come in medium and large. I had the large Americana pizza with a nice delicately dressed mixed green and red onion salad. On Mondays and Tuesdays the pizzas here are 2 for the price of 1. One of my friends had a large pizza but she couldn’t finish it. The bar person serving us offered to wrap up the remaining slices. My friend had a nice foil packaged pizza parcel to go… If you like authentic Italian pizza(like me!) then you’ll like this place. The food and the service were excellent.

I had been meaning to check this place out for a while, finally made it with some friends for drinks and dinner. People were very friendly, drinks were good and food was very good. We ordered cheese pizza and two salads to share, yummy! I will definitely go back for 2 for 1 pizza night!

In search of some free wifi and a hot spot to eat, drink and be worky, Leon C. and I found the Rosslyn Arms a great place to rest our laptops. With a great little patio area, intact with power outlets, we downed our first large OJ and got down to business. Monday and Tuesday there is a 2 for 1 wood fired pizza deal. Feeling a little peckish, we moved ourselves inside to the front of the bar, perching at a vintage heavy wood table in the massive bay window. The 13″ Oscar and Americano pizzas seemed like an obvious choice and we added a caprese salad to get in some greens. Seriously scrumptious! The service is super friendly, very relaxed and a perfect atmosphere for anything from pint slinging with friends to hard-core online time. Highlights: everything! From the fresh flowers on the tables to the chilli oil accompaniment to my pizza, can’t fault a damn thing.

Oh yes the Rosslyn Arms, you are a fine catch. Formerly a Bar Room Bar the change has taken this place in the right direction. With a big open front, tables outside, a beer garden in the back and 2−4−1 pizza on a Monday and a Tuesday, you have pushed your way into being one of my favourite places in the area. With classic folk and country music playing, Wimbledon tennis on the TV and attentive staff, I found it hard to tear myself away. This place is great for an informal meeting as the pizza’s are cheap and the booze isn’t costly either. The Rosslyn always has people in it whether it is early or late. I know why now as it has something for everyone. Draft beers, cocktails, decent coffee, free wifi and cheap but very good food is not a given in any establishment. Yet the Rosslyn Arms pulls it off with aplomb in the most relaxed easy going way.
