Practical music production and sound engineering courses for beginners to advanced. Full & part time world renown diploma courses as well as short part time courses.* Since 1989 this working 48 track professional recording studio has assisted over 4000 musicians, prospective studio engineers, enthusiasts, many DJ’s, artists, producers as well as novices to develop their creative recording and production skills, experience and contacts. The Workshop has been the only school used by the A&R personnel from Warner Music, BMG, Island, Nude, Jive, Mother, Polygram, Parlophone, Independiente, EMI & Decca records etc…

Having no more than 5 in a class they are ideal for gaining practical experience and guidance at using modern professional recording equipment and production techniques– for home or professional use and those thinking of setting up or building up their

History

Established in 1989.

Started off based in a small studio in Shepherds Bush providing a series of short part time courses for beginners such as Cubase and mixing. All of which had only 4 people per class.

Gradually increased the number of courses to include Sampling, synthesiser programming and multi track recording.

Moved to Buspace Studios in 1999 and started putting on full time courses. Added more courses such as ProTools, Logic, Reason and DJ.

Business Owner

One of the founder members and keyboard player in psychedelic rock band Here & Now from 1974 to 1976.

One of the founders of Streetlevel Recordings working with various Indie bands such as The Fall, Androids of Mu etc.

Branched off and created his own studio in Shepherds Bush working with early Sequencers such as PRo16 (Cubase) and producing various Techno House tracks in the early 90s.
