Visited for lunch on a BUSY weekend. To my amazement the restaurant coped well. Normally I love Mediterranean food. However for some reason the food here did not taste authentic. Maybe because they were busy… I also feel it is pricy for what you get… Not my favourite…

Seems to be a fairly run of the mill greek feeling place. The restaurant itself has a good atmosphere, and fun décor, which was helpful in inviting us in. There were a few of us, so were were able to try a bunch of different items. Most of the food was just ok. They are trying to ride the line between being a tapas place and have enough large mains to satisfy — ends up just being a bit confusing and higher priced that you’d want. Booze wasn’t overly expensive, but we ended up spending a good £20+ per head. I’d recommend the tirokafteri, but then again I love cheese, so that dish is after my own heart. The falafel seemed a bit greasy, and none of the meats stood out as having great flavor. We also tried a halloumi dish, and that was a better choice. Service was around, but pretty indifferent, I didn’t notice slow or fast — it was just clear that this was a job that they were doing to fill the time. With a big group I think this could be fun, the service and the food can take a backseat to the atmosphere. There is also a great looking terrace, which would be nice on days when it isn’t rainy…

The food was nice but a little dry. I suppose it wasn’t meant to be swimming in fat, but I found the pork belly got stuck in my throat.

Visited early in the week, so was not that busy. Food was ok and tasty but as i need wheat free was limited. The menu seemed to have some great soudning greek dishes that could be sampled. Service was slow for it not being very busy and was probably due to only a few staff being around.
