This place is under new ownership and has totally changed.
It is welcoming here, the staff are great, the beer selection is modern but broad, the food is almost always excellent. It could be a little bit more consistent. As a pub in Eltham where I actually want to spend time, it has to get five stars.

This place is now officially called the GPO, recently taken over by Antic pub chain it’s now fantastic! Great atmosphere, lovely staff, good is outstanding. Definitely worth a visit.

Sigh yet again another pub which looks fantastic on the outside and yet when you go in you find a really unwelcoming feel about the place. We went there for Sunday dinner last summer, the staff were very ignorant of special dietry requirements and when the food came it was practically inedible, the chef came out and was rude and useless, sigh us Elthamians are hard pushed to find a decent roast out these days.
