I see that bus routes have now made an appearance on Qype, and I would like to add one of my favourites. I was lucky enough to catch the very last Routemaster on this route, so I feel particularly attached not particularly fond of the new style busses, but the route is one of the best in London. It goes all the way from Liverpool Street station across the City, past St Paul’s, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street and through Notting Hill to its final destination in Westbourne Park Garage. This is the perfect route for visitors arriving from Stansted and much cheaper and more authentic than the sightseeing busses. It takes longer than the tube, especially with the current nightmare of never-ending road works, so not recommended for those in a hurry.
