The No. 15 Bus

This is the bus to take to or from the tower of London. I can’t remember where I took it to, just remember taking this bus from the tower or London to experience a double decker bus experience and see part of london from upstairs of the bus while letting my feet rest after hours and hours of walking in the sun. It seems like this bus is a popular one with tourists and locals. I can see why with tourists because it stops at a lot of touristy must-​sees and for locals it looks like it goes through the business district of some sort. So its hard to get a seat on this place.
Overall, this is just one of the double decker buses in London but I recommend getting on at least one of them. I just decided to review this one because its probably the easiest one for people visiting london to get on because its near the tower of london which is the main attraction for going to london (or at least that general area).

Take the 15 bus from the vicinity of the Tower and travel to Trafalgar Square for a nice sightseeing of london

So it’s only getting 3 stars.
Why only 3 stars? Well if it was a review of the old Routemaster vintage route, it would get 5 stars. Unfortunately progress got in the way of good service, and now they are annoying regular double deckers offering a 1-​star service. The bus route runs all day, then becomes the N15 at night and travels further out. The N15 is a nightmare to take, you wait ages for a bus to come and when it does, you rarely get a seat. The regular 15 isn’t much better.
As for the customer service, I haven’t ever had good service from the bus driver on this (or any) London bus. Modern bus drivers seem to be incredibly rude. They never smile and they have a button for all the messages so they don’t even need to speak.
That said, if I had to deal with the riff raff that uses this bus route every day, I’d probably be just as fed up as them.

Bus 15
Wir befanden uns Paddington Station und wollten zum Tower. Wärend ich noch überlegte, mit welcher U-​Bahn man am besten dorthin kommt, fiel mein Blick auf einen Übersichtsplan an einer Bushaltestelle. Der Bus Linie 15 fuhr von Paddington direkt zum Tower of London (und weiter nach Blackwall). Und noch besser, er sollte an vielen bekannten Orten der Londoner Innenstadt vorbeikommen. Da wir was von London sehen wollten und es nicht eilig hatten, nahmen wir den Bus.
Diese Linie berührt wirklich viele bekannte Stellen in London:
Marble Arch (Speakers Corner), Dann über die Oxford Street, vorbei an Selfridges (Kaufhaus), weiter über den Oxford Circus und Regent Street zum Piccadilly Circus, dann über Haymarket, Trafalgar Square, Aldwych, Fleet Street, Royal Courts of Justice, und St Paul’s Cathedral zum Tower Of London.
Man sollte aber Zeit mitbringen. Selbst an einem Sonntagnachmittag dauert die Fahrt eine gute Stunde. Es fahren moderne Doppeldeckbusse. Zwischen Trafalgar Square und Tower fahren für Touristen von 10 – 18 Uhr auch alte Routemaster-​Busse (das sind die bis vor einigen Jahren typischen Londoner Doppeldecker mit der offenen Plattform).
Der Fahrpreis bertägt 2 GBP für die Einzelfahrt. Es gibt Tageskarten für alle Londoner Busse zu 3,80 GBP. Auch Travelcards für alle Londoner Verkehhrsmittel werden anerkannt.
Ales in allem eine gute Möglichkeit, viel von der Lononer City zu sehen, wenn man Zeit hat und auf die Erklärungen bei wesentlich teureren Stadtrundfahrten verzichten kann.
