I would also like to recommend this veterinary surgery. I have been coming here for over 12 years. My cats all adore Mr Carmichael who is an excellent vet with a deep knowledge of small animals and a really excellent manner. He will never try and flog you unneccessary treatments or products (unlike some) & is really trustworthy. He has an excellent nurse, Sarah, who is always available at the end of the phome to reassure or advise you on any pet points between appointments and is a really caring and practical asset to the practice.

This is a lovely old-fashioned vet’s surgery, with an impressive photo of a lion above the counter and a fat black cat named Shadow on same who loves all the attention.
It is located in one of the area’s most beautiful roads and you feel like walking back in time for the duration of your visit.
Dr Carmichael and his staff really care about the animals they treat (unlike some other vets I’ve been to who try and sell you unnecessary and expensive treatments) and make you, and most importantly your pet, feel at ease.
Special bonus: you can also buy some of the best olive oil here!
