The Hive Honey Shopis an entire shop devoted to just bees and honey, a little honey-​wonderland chock-​full from floor to ceiling with the largest selection of English and international honeys in the country! The shop is run by third generation beekeepers who produce honey from their Surrey farm as well as local Wandsworth honey.

Beekeepers since 1924, they produce hand made family lotions and potions from formulas passed down from one beekeeping generation to the next. Honey & Royal Jelly moisturisers, honey & lemon lip balms, honey facial masks to name but a few. Over 300 hand-​made honey based items are displayed within this Dickensian styled shop. A free ‘honey taster’ table is set up for customers to try before you buy. A huge 5ft glass wall of 20,000 live honeybees is on display within the shop for visitors to gaze within the secret world of the honeybee while they make honey on the premises.

As professional beekeepers they are qualified to handle live bees.

A wealth of health and medicinal recipes, that were found to work extremely well, were passed on from one family member to the next. This tradition still carries on today.

Many years ago I made honey gifts for my friends, who after trying them demanded I open a shop.

I am the owner, and head beekeeper for The Hive Honey Shop®. I have been keeping bees since I was five years old and beekeeping has been in my family for the last three generations. Because we are beekeepers, honey, pollen, propolis, beeswax and royal jelly has always played an important role in our lives.

My family invented lotions, potions, ointments and cosmetics using the natural ingredients they harvested from their bee hives. A wealth of health and medicinal recipes, that were found to work extremely well, were passed on from one family member to the next. This tradition still carries on today.
