This is easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in my life. Hotel is a maze: I had to go up an elevator, walk through a hall, walk down half a flight of stairs, and walk up another half flight of stairs to get to my room. This was the only way to get to my room. Rooms: the walls were so thin that I could hear the guy in the next room snoring, and I heard his phone ring at 6am every morning. Of course, there were no other rooms available. Halfway through my stay a new person took over the room next door, and woke me up every night at 3am with bed creaking. At 4am every night, the door to his room would slam. Obviously I got no sleep and don’t even want to know what was going on in the room next door. Hotel common areas and amenities were very dirty: I asked for an ironing board, and it was so dirty that it stained my shirt when I tried to iron it. The guy at the front desk told me to put a sheet on the ironing board when I complained. Internet: costs 20 pounds per day. Ludicrous. Luggage: they charge you 2 pounds per bag that you leave there. Service: all extremely rude and unresponsive, with the notable exception of the delightful cleaning staff. THEYALSOCHARGEYOUANEXTRA10% ONTOPOFYOURSTAYIFYOUPAYWITHDEBITORCREDITCARDWTF. The two best things about this hotel are that it is very close to the Earls Court tube station and it is clean. Beyond that don’t expect too much. It does seem to be like the Ryan air of hotels, where every amenity comes with a price tag. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, Internet is an extra charge with a pretty steep price. The rooms are definitely small, uncharacteristically small I would say for a London hotel. I’m not sure what view the previous reviewer had off of the balcony, I had a balcony and the view was the street below. I think the icing on the cake for my stay was when I checked out at the required checkout time and my flight did not leave for several hours later, I was told by the concierge it would be an additional two pound fee to keep my bags stored. In addition, plan to pay with cash or you’ll get slapped with another fee using your debit or credit card! There are several other hotels located around the Earl’s Court tube location, I would give those a try if visiting London again.

This hotel is exactly what we were looking for to kickstart our 29th bday trip through Europe! Check in was a breeze, sweet staff(very accommodating) and the location is excellent. Minutes from the Earl Square tube stop, very easy access from the airport. The rooms are small, but we have a nice balcony and the view is amazing. It seems as though the bathrooms were recently renovated and have a flawless look. Shower was perfect, no issues there. Water pressure in this city is divine! Two twin beds make me feel like a kid again, and other than the super wheelies on the beds, they are comfortable and above average for euro 3 star hotel. I especially appreciated the extra warm blanket on the bed. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

This hotel is pretty bad. I realize rooms in Europe are smaller than rooms in the USA, so I’m not going to bother commenting on the size of the room. The bed.. .augh! We could feel the springs through the mattress. It was awful! All over the place in the hotel, they have signs on notes that read«[enter amenity name here] is available; please check with reception.» Those amenities are, indeed, available.. . for a fee. Example: wifi is available at the low, low rate of £2 for 30 minutes.. . it’s a steal! The shower was really, really strange. It was difficult to get the right water temperature(it alternated between freezing and scalding) and you couldn’t move the showerhead, so you always wound up spraying all over the bathroom. And the heat.. . my god, the heat! The rooms were allegedly climate controlled, right? But it was controlled in such as way to make the guest feel as if they were a guest of Satan himself. The bar was really odd, too; the cushions at the benches in the bar appeared to be custom.. . and by «custom,» I mean, someone hand-bedazzled them. Some of the staff was pretty rude; however, the night staff were pretty nice, so they make up for it. If it weren’t for the nice night staff and the general quiet in the hotel, they’d get one star.. .
