This is probably one of the most intense pieces of theatre I have ever seen. It had me on the edge of my seat from the minute it opened. Thank God it is only 70 minutes long because I don’t think that I could have taken much longer due to how incredibly emotional the performance is. It tells the story of what eventually happens to a black man who takes over an island and becomes a ruthless dictator. The play is incredibly thought-provoking and features some of the most amazing African dance and music I have ever seen on stage. Given that I am from Africa, I think it is quite something! This is definitely not to be missed– £10 tickets are available and are worth every penny!
