A small Wetherspoons chain pub, slightly quirky and can feel like an old man’s pub at times! But you do get a mix of ages and characters, especially in the summer in the pleasant back yard. This area out back is not as well kept and colourful with flowers as it used to be but still a welcome sun trap. As with other wetherspoons, great prices, good range of drinks and decent food although we have found a number of times certain menu items not available. All in all, not the best wetherspoon but can be nice in summer and does have a friendly atmosphere.
