wow an amazing experience. A panoramic view of the Thames, london eye, big ben etc it holds 18 people. There are 2 seatings per day, This pop up restaurant stopped in london for 3 months on its world tour for people to try michelin star cusine from each countries top chefs. I was fortunate to be there on Claude Bosi’s week(Hibiscus of Mayfair). The Cube has 2 sittings lunch and dinner and caters for up to 18 people per sitting, so you will be part of a small dining elite if you get the chance to go. To start we were given champagne and hor deurves Our menu on the day consisted of various dishes from Claude who answered questions and chatted with us whilst cooking each dish is also matched with a wine. To start we had his take on a kedgeree — a very runny egg topped with a kipper and rice froth, we then had skate wings with beans followed by lamb sweetbreads(yuk) and then beef cheeks. My favourite dish was the sweet which was a mushroom tart with a macademia nut sorbet(sounds weird but it was very tasty) We all received a signed menu as we left which was a very nice touch. Each course was matched with a wine.
