Established in 1998.

Originally set up by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame as a rehearsal space it gradually grew into a studio and was overhauled and refined for Shakespeare’s Sister who recorded their seminal debut album ‘Hormonally Yours’.

Throughout the 90’s the studio was used by Anxious Music as a demo studio and housed such acts as Freaks Of Desire, Rachel Stamp, Antacid and Capitol K.

Since 1998 the studio has been run as a commercial studio and has seen the likes of Feeder, Eagle Eye Cherry, Battles, Dirty Pretty Things, Sound Of Guns, Matthew Neel, ManOrMouse? Bang Bangs.

In recent years online music website www.thecryptsessions.com has raised awareness of the studio worldwide.
