I always wanted my own business and with my background always being in the food industry, I thought why not start up my own.

Kafe Neo saved my sisters children!
One bad thing about this part of London is there are no public loos (!) If you attempt to be a decent aunty and do an easter egg hunt in Covent Garden… and the little ‘uns need the loo, you are stuck! We wandered around the back of the transport museum (where all the public loos were locked — argh!!) and then I had to wander into this café to ask to use their facilities before my poor 3 year old niece burst!
Luckily the staff here were really sweet and let us cheekily use their toilet. While we were there (the café not the loo!) I grabbed more water, and apples for the kids. The Greek food behind the counter looked pretty good, so I will have to remember this place for yummy looking grub, and the saviour loo!

Great little place, just behind Covent Garden. Superb greek food as well as jacket potatoes, salads etc., Good value, friendly staff and great food. Do yourself a favour and avoid the chain places and eat here.

Decent cafes in Covent Garden that don’t cost the earth AND are reasonably likely to let you sit down are pretty scarce. In fact this is the only one I can think of.
Kafe Neo sits on Tavistock Street just behind the southern market and Transport Museum and offers tasty fresh ciabattas and sandwiches, hot meals and some dirty (in a good way) salads that probably have the equivalent calorific value of a Big Mac (but of course far more nutritional value and — indeed — taste). And you get four of them.
It’s Greek apparently, though I didnt notice this much, apart from the complimentary dollop of houmous and misspelling of Café…

Kafe Neo is a good spot for an inexpensive lunch in Covent Garden, a little way away from the crowds, and there’s usually space to sit in its airy interior or at the outside tables if it’s fine. The menu consists mainly of Mediterranean-​style sandwich fillings which can be mixed and matched with a range of breads including panini, ciabatta, bagels, and just plain old brown bread, for a standard price of around £3.50. There is a good selection of bottled chilled drinks and the coffee is acceptable.
On my last visit, the accompanying salad with my sandwich was a bit limp, but the panini itself was well-​stuffed with good-​quality ingredients and arrived very quickly. Recommended.
