My fav place to be on a weekend, it’s pretty much the only thing I miss about Edmonton!
Foods great, cheap and large portions, weekends are always a laugh there!

Honestly, I don’t remember TOO much about this place… I can’t remember the service, the pricing or what the place even really looked like. But I definitely remember the food. AMAZING!!! This was the biggest and best pile of food I have ever eaten in my life. Chicken, yorkshire pudding, chips, veggies, roast potatoes, bread, all swamped in delicious gravy. I died a little that day! I took a photo of my plate before devouring it – I still gaze at this photo and daydream!

When first opened as a Hungry Horse it was a great place to eat and drink with albeit a standard pub menu but large portions well cooked and a decent range of beers. The outdoor facilities and kids play are are brilliant. Recently the standard of the food has deteriorated and there is no decent choice of beers. The only improvement are the bar staff who are now attentive polite and efficient.

This pub is owned by one of the major pub chains so you will find familiar drinks/​meals specials there. The thing I like about this pub is the HUGE outdoor areas at the front AND the back of the pub. Recently renovated (Dec2011)

Decent place if your looking for something nice to eat with a couple of beers. Weekdays tend to be fairly slow unless the football is on. Great atmosphere on Friday and saturday nights, music playin and cheap drinks. Also have 3 pool tables.
