I ordered ribs, wings, and shrimp plate and a cedar salad. After a day of walking I was super duper hungry. You know when you are hungry and EVERYTHING tastes sublime? Nothing was amazing, all items were just so blah… the waitress was disinterested so the experience just fell short of my low expectations. There is no way the ribs were slow cooked, bbq sauce had no character, cesar salad was over dressed with mayo, and de-vein your freaking shrimp! I’m not gonna lie I cleaned my plate(hence two instead of one star) but that’s only because I hadn’t eat all day and I wanted to fill myself up for the amount I was paying. Not saying it’s overpriced in regards to quantity, but yeah would never go back again. I really do wish them success but changes are definitely needed.

Lovely chilled ambiance & warm peaceful restaurant with relaxed lighting & smooth music. Great choice of steaks, salad, seafood &BBQ. Good wine list & cocktails. Modern American/European food like you’d find in San Francisco, Charleston or New Orleans. Great place for a date or meeting up with a group of friends.

Been here many times and always have a great meal. The ribs are always lovely and now even better now that they have a new rib oven. The garlic green beans are a must also. Great selection of wines and cocktails but have not yet tried a pudding there. Will rectify that soon.

A place I visit regularly. The atmosphere is good and the place has a warm feel to it with slightly dimmed lights. I’ve tried a few options on the menu and would recommend the steak(obviously, it’s a grill) or the salmon. Great place for when you can’t make your mind up about a healthy option dinner(fish) or you just want to munch into a steak or burger. Nice touch with a glass of jelly beans along with the bill.

Amazing! Me and my partner had sirloin stake as a main and cocktails for drinks followed with ref wine and brownie ice cream for dessert, it was one of the best meats i have ever had, service was really good and quick and price wise its very good. Service charge was about 10£ but they did deserve it. P. S i went on a friday night.

My husband and I popped into The Cabin for a late lunch on a Saturday. The atmosphere was casual and the service was good(until we needed to hunt down a server to get our bill which is typical England). While tempted by the crab cakes(which I have not had since moving to England from the US over two years ago), I decided against them and went with the chicken club sandwich. The sandwich was good though the bread was only lightly toasted not totally toasted like it would be in the US and also the bread was much thicker(white bread, nothing fancy). I removed the middle slice of bread and the sandwich still barely fit into my mouth. At first, I didn’t like that the bread was only lightly toasted but then I remember how badly the roof of my mouth gets cut with overly toasted bread and I was then delighted with the preparation at The Cabin. My husband ordered the ribs which looked dry but he said weren’t though they should have been cooked longer. We both opted for the skinny fries and they would have been delicious had they not been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. Note that you’ll have to ask for ketchup after getting your food and it will arrive in very small ramekins. So, if you really, really like ketchup, you are going to specify that you need A LOT of ketchup. Overall, a good experience and we’ve been talking about a return trip, possibly for an early dinner to take advantage of their excellent two course menu price.

A nice and atmospheric restaurant serving great stakes and seafood. It’s always moderate priced but if you want a bargain go before 6:30pm to get a starter + main for only £13.50! For all you meat lovers I would recommend the beef ribs or a stake. Besides the offered stake sizes on the menu(8oz &12oz) the waiter told us that upon request larger ones are available. So for all protein craving body builders out there this could just be the answer to your problems! ;) It gets busy in the evenings, especially on Saturdays so I would recommend reserving a table. You might get lucky(as we did!) but after us they were turning people away…

They do a £12.50 early diner deal if you order before 6.30 Monday to Saturday, that’s for a main and either a starter or dessert. 2 of us had sweet and sour ribs as a starter, I had the chowder, one of us had a grilled meat skewer. Then we all had either sea bass or burgers for our mains. We all loved the starters, and the only complaint about the mains was that the sea bass could maybe have done with being cooked for 30 seconds less. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff were nice(our waitress seemed a bit brusque initially, but turned out to be very friendly), and we had a lovely evening. 50 quid for 2 courses for 4 people, 16 for a bottle of house red, nothing for a jug of tap water with ice and lemon, a 12.5% service charge(which I always find annoying as I’d far rather choose to leave a tip), under £80 for the four of us. Pop in for an early dinner if you’re in the area. Tell them I sent you; they’ll have no idea what you’re talking about.

So I’ve been here before, last time we tried something from the brunch menu, so this time we decided to go for something that would be a little more filling. We(my family) chose to go for an evening meal for Easter Sunday. I started with the Calamari with Tartar Sauce. Unfortunately, nothing good can be said about this. My plate was practically swimming in oil(hmm, did somebody forget to drain before serving). The Tartar Sauce was a little bit on the salty side also. Regardless of it’s flaws, I still ate it. On to the main, I was seriously opting or the Surf N Turf, but chickened out at the last minute and went with an 8oz Sirloin Steak with Garlic & Herb butter being my sauce of choice along with some French Fries. *This was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a very long time*!!! It was beautiful. Melt in the mouth, tender steak, ooooohh! When the brought the Garlic & Herb butter it looked like it would be way too much, but I pretty much went through it all! The fries were perfectly cooked, crisp on the outside, nice and fluffy on the inside, with the right amount of salt added too! I was too full for any dessert. To round things up, I say go with their main menu and sack off the brunch menu…

The Cabin has taken over the site of Tootsies on Chiswick High Road. It has moved here from its popular location on Dawes in Fulham and has been open about 14 weeks according to the manager. Their specialities are grilled seafood and steak, supplemented by dishes such as prawn cocktail and moules mariniere. Their menu doesn’t trumpet the provenance of their produce but following our chat, the manager did actually produce a list of where their fod comes from, all still supplied through their butcher in Fulham. The is quality coming out of that kitchen. My bruschetta with portobello mushroom and tallegio had a good contrast of textures and flavours, not always easy to achieve in a dish with so few ingredients where there’s nowhere to hide. My friend’s deep fried squid was suitably crispy and went down well. He continued with moules mariniere, which was competent but didn’t blow him away. His girlfriend and I chose to go with the steak, which proved to be the better choice. Mine was accurately cooke dot medium rare and he quality of the meat shone through with each bite. It was enhanced with a little pot of classic bearnaise sauce. We shared a bannoffee pie for dessert, which did lack the usual amount of toffee. The major error of the night was with the service — the waitress was clearing our table as my friend was finishing his main course. However, this problem should be easily rectified with some training. The food is good enough to warrant a return visit.

Was not enthused by the cocktail I had, sorry I can’t remember what it is to tell you. Something strawberry id imagine, but the taste was interesting. The steak on the other hand was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I ordered the 8oz and managed the whole thing. The Crème brûlée was good as well. The apple crumble did not taste like a traditional apple crumble and was more like some kind of apple tart ness, which was tasty but dont expect warm apples cooked with delicious butter and sugar crumble on top. Just to note 50% of your food bill all night Monday! 4 of us ate for 140£, we all had drinks and dessert. Worth the price. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and not too noisy. If you want steak come here.

My favorite restaurant in London! Would have never heard about this place if it weren’t for a friend who got a job there while studying abroad. Its super cute, sophisticated, and the food is amazing! Their daily happy hour special on food can’t be beat(£12 for a starter and entrée). The calamari is off the hook. The steak and fries… delicious. The service is great, and the drinks are stiff. Wonderful experience overall. I crave their food all the time… too bad I’m stuck on the other side of the pond :/

The Cabin Bar and Grill has a warm atmosphere and is an ideal spot for an after dinner cocktail. My boyfriend and I popped in after a concert and were able to order a hamburger and chips just before the kitchen closed. My first rum and coke had an insect in it; the bartender was mortified and promptly made me another drink. He was friendly and chatty and made sure my next drink was perfect. My boyfriend and I shared his hamburger which was good and was a perfect late night snack. The chips were warm, crispy, and crunchy. After eating we got comfortable in the area near the bar and sat and talked, the Cabin is perfect for that. The bar area had other couples and groups laughing and talking but it wasn’t overly noisy, which made it easy to talk and laugh. We were really in our own world and the Cabin allowed us to enjoy the bar, the drinks and the food and not be bothered by excess noise or other people.

This fairly small but cosy bar is located bang in the centre of Fulham away from the madness that they call Fulham Broadway and enjoys a loyal clientele from the area. It is one of the places to be and is cool and sophisticated without being typically pretentious as some can be in Fulham. As you enter you will be warmly welcomed by the chatty staff who will gladly make you a pre dinner drink or one of their cocktails from the extensive list. Food-wise — they specialise in steaks, so meat eaters will love it and they are not mad expensive either. The main restaurant with its alcoves and nooks and crannies is ideal for an intimate meal for two or they can cater for larger parties if booked in advance. Very much a bar as well, so you can enjoy your time there and won’t be rushed to finish your meal — you can be in for the night if you wish. Various special offers are always available, check out the website for current deals and head on down there for a great night out.
