Located half way up Tottenham Court Road near Goodge Street station from the outside you may think that this bar isn’t up to much and just your average sports bar. Head on inside and you will be pleasantly surprised. I liked the brightly coloured flowers presented in a variety of containers on top of tables. After looking at the menu for a while I got up to the bar and the manager told me that someone would come to take our order at the table, I liked this extra touch. The drinks arrived quickly at the table and the food took a bit longer than expected, but was still reasonable. The food was well presented and tasty with a good selection of sides.

Beer garden catches the sun in the early afternoon, and really quiet at the weekends. Busy on a week night. Nice bar. Quite soul less but always have a good night. Natchos are yummy.

The only thing I had here was their fish finger sandwich. It was so good all my co-workers ended up ordering the same dish! The portion was very big for lunch. Good luck finishing it!

On the busy Tottenham Court Road. There’s been a pub on this site since 1826 and its name has changed several times. It is featured in the Fitzrovia News guide to pubs which says: Dog fighting took place in two pits in the pub yard(when it was called the New Inn) in the early 19th century, leading to the pub landlord Cox being prosecuted by the last of the Poor Law officials in 1830. This pub is featured on the Fitzrovia Crawl

Just opposite Goodge Street station and midway down Tottenham Court Road is this friendly if uninspiring bar. It’s bland exterior turns into a more homely interior with lots of dark wooden tables and a couple of sofa’s at the front. The bar serves all the usual stuff and can get busy when football matches are played. The rest of the time it’s quite a quiet place, suitable for after works drinks or some needed respite from shopping nearby. I wouldn’t recommend it as a place for a party though it can cater for large groups and would be ideal for post-work drinks with like-minded colleagues.

On a rainy day when I need some warming up, this is my place to drop in for a not so quick shot of Cognac. I’ve stopped by in the early afternoons before business just picks up. To enjoy the peace of nothingness for a while. The bar attendant who is Turkish, is so very friendly and hospitable. Always had good service whenever I’m there. Karaōke evenings every Thursday.

Situated right by one of the gyms i teach it’s too easy to pop in here and undo all the hard earned work. A long, wooden bar with plenty of seats and and large tv screen playing sports that appeals to workers or shoppers who may be gasping for a quick pint. Prices are good for the area and the service is adequate. Not the greatest atmosphere but certainly above average.
