Tesco Express, while ubiquitous around London, is just the saddest grocery store. The chain has locations everywhere but, this store included, the selection is just so uninspiring. The produce selection is teenie tiny, most of it is processed, pre-packaged, and tasteless. I’d liken this one more to a convenience store than a grocery store, fine for grabbing the essentials on your way to/from work or a bottle of wine en route to a house party that you forgot about, but really not where you want to head when you want to make a meal. This location in particular seems to be underutilizing the space with an entire aisle that is always empty. Time to up your game, Tesco Express.
