Sweet Tree Bakery

If I’m working from home and I need to tear myself away from my desk for some lunch, I drag myself over to Sweet Tree and order one of their INCREDIBLE filled bagels. Like seriously — how can something as simple as a tuna salad bagel be made to taste so good? It’s not just the fillings (which are all done fresh and as you please including seasoning and sauces), but the bagels themselves are the best I’ve ever tasted — chewy but soft with the perfect ‘bready’ taste. Damn, now I’m thinking about these bagels and I can’t have one until the bakery opens again tomorrow *sad face*.
They also do filled rolls and baguettes, toasted sandwiches and jacket potatoes — to eat in or takeaway. You can also buy freshly baked bread products and cakes to take home with you including their signature baumkuchen, and their wildly popular blueberry brioche (which is perfect as a late breakfast with a rather good coffee). Prices are good — about £3-£4 for a filled bread product of your choice.
I’m still salivating at the thought of their bagels. Carbs 4 lyfe!
