Surf ‘n’ Taste

In times of crisis, I often have to nip down the road and use the internet provided by Surf and Taste (so aptly named because you can «surf» the internet whilst you «taste» some food). As an internet café it isn’t so bad (although whenever I sit down I always feel like I’m sitting in a kebab shop), and I’ve become well acquainted with the waiters here so it has become somewhat of a comfortable experience.
However, you may want to reconsider before you try tasting anything; the food here – although it doesn’t lack in imagination – lacks somewhat in taste and borders that horrible line of being average. Despite being inexpensive, I’m never really inspired by the range of panini’s on offer (which often turn out to be somewhat greasy); but if you’re eating in, the dishes do come with a rather promising side salad which seems to have had more effort put into than the main dish! But they are a welcoming bunch here, full of comradeship and are more often than not quite pleasant to be around.
