We walked nearby — thought about going in — then the sign which was hilarious, but sexist made our decisions for us — we didn’t want to give money to a business who advertised as such. using the objectifcation of women to get customers through the door — not for us!

This is an alright pub with a bit of outside space, nothing special but nothing bad… until you meet some of the staff. Don’t get me wrong, most of the staff behind the bar were helpful, efficient and friendly. The landlady however… a huge piece of work on a power trip. She decided that my friend had unplugged her wine cooler to charge her phone(completely false seeing as we later found out who unplugged the wine cooler — don’t ask me why?!) and actually gave us the ‘talk to the hand grrrlfriend’ approach for not admitting to something we hadn’t done. We obviously didn’t buy another drink there after that and swiftly left. I won’t be returning. Oh, and there’s also a barman with a severe case of small-man-syndrome. Apparently moving a table a couple of inches to fit all our friends around it was outrageously inconvenient for him. As you can probably tell, I did not enjoy my visit to this pub.

Charming pub, next to The Green in Richmond. As you enter, there is the main bar, where it gets very busy. However, there are loads of space behind this, on a large space with tables. This is divided into a quieter area and a louder one. Both areas have large TVs to watch the sports on. Talking of sports, there is rugby memorabilia everywhere on this pub! And when I mean everywhere, it is everywhere. To the point that they don’t have any space left on the walls, and they have even used the ceiling! But although this may sound excessive, I found it very personal. Finally, the food(always the food!) :) — this is a pub where you can grab a tasty hot dog or burguer with fries for a reasonable price. Always a winner for me.
