Wait staff is super cool and the atmosphere is very chill. Great variety of foods on the menu perfect for lunch or an afternoon cocktail.

Great food & drinks! Had a the burger and it was one best I’ve ever tasted. My husband had the chicken street tacos and they were absolutely amazing. It’s a small place which in my opinion makes the quality better. Also has a lovely location next to Hyde park for an after dinner stroll. Reason I’m giving it 4 because the manager wasn’t very kind but the other employees were.

I visited Streaky Gin when it had only been open a short while. It’s not as tiny as it first appeared actually being spread over two floors not just the one we were seated in. This also accounts for the fact that service wasn’t exactly stellar and the menu was a bit on the short side.
They have an AM menu and a PM one also, as it was lunchtime we were given the PM menu which is a British/​American fusion; think burgers, mac n cheese, nachos etc and you get the idea. My friend settled on the burger whereas I went for one of my obsessions and the moment and ordered the fried chicken tacos. We also tried to order cocktails but were told that they weren’t doing them at that time without any further explanation given which was a bit odd. Nonetheless when the food arrived it looked good!
My tacos were amazing (even if I did keep dropping black beans down my front) and the burger was so huge that my friend couldn’t quite finish it. Both were cooked really well and came with generous side portions particularly for the price. It’s just such a shame that the service brought it down a notch

About 4weeks ago, I stumbled on this place and had a wonderful breakfast-​great American pancakes and a decaf flat white.
Sadly, I don’t think it is possible to repeat that experience, though I have tried. One weekend I walked by and they simply weren’t open. The next the kitchen had changed its opening hour. And this morning pancakes arrived stone cold, bacon was terrible and there was no decaf.
I guess I will just hold on to that great first experience and simply not return for breakfast-​it certainly doesn’t seem to be the focus. Maybe drinks? Too bad, it’s so close to my flat…

What a weird place. It has a ‘hip pub as imagined by the new design team at Fullers pubs’ with PIZAZZ vibe — imagine all of the overdone, passé trends of the last 10 years rolled into one tiny room.
Bacon? Check. Top-​hat on an animal? Check. Jam jars for glasses? Check. Telephone booth? Check. Vintage lit marquee? Check. Quirky stools? Check. Upstairs ‘speakeasy (aka a tiny shitty room which should probably just be a storeroom)’? Check.
But whatever. The waitress was duper nice, the people that own it seem to be mega passionate, the bartender (or wait, was it their mixologist? — they have both) made strong drinks.
An ok spot if late night drinking is your passion.

Very slow service — took about 20 minutes to receive our drinks.
Cocktails & food mediocre but atmosphere good.

I left sunny San Diego for a quick London trip, never in my California dreams did I ever think I’d find this little treasure. Amazing cocktails, yummo steak and overall a great experience. I spent the better part of my second day there and I’m glad I did, I met some friends that I will no doubt keep forever and I will definitely come back!

Best place in Kensington! Awesome hang out. Drinks are absolutely amazing and the food is incredible. The staff was so helpful and the service was incredible. Thank you for the wonder file experience I will definitely be back like EveryDay! New local hang out

There are times in our travels when we stumble onto a place and we realize we were meant to find it.
Streaky is a delightfully hip bistro that is inviting and lively. They play hosts to a younger crowd. The staff was exceedingly friendly.
We are from the states, and we were looking for an English experience. We ordered Sapphire tonics and the bartender asked us if he might recommend a local gin. His selection was well chosen.
The food was solid and delicious. We ordered the chop salad, which was colorful and smartly presented. The nachos were a popular choice for those sitting around us. The portions were large (American sized).
We also ordered the pancakes, which are some of the best we have tasted anywhere.
The bartender, Dan, is a gifted craftsman and creates masterpieces. Ask him for one of his award winning libations.

We highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good food and great people.
We are returning there soon and plan to make it a regular habit whenever we visit to London.

I almost don’t want to write this review so I can keep my newfound gem to myself.
Walking down Kensington High Street, near Hyde Park, you will find Streaky GIN.
We had won a free meal through Cityhawk, so we didn’t know what to expect.
When we walked I’m, my first impressions were that it’s quite cozy, well decorated and very, very welcoming.
Soon after arriving we were introduced to Joe, the owner of the restaurant that was five days old at the time. He is lovely and has a diverse background in the industry. All of the food at Streaky is freshly made, from scratch, everyday. There is an immense pride in everything that is served here, food or cocktails.
One of the things I love is the fact you can get breakfast all day! The menu is great and reasonably priced. I had the macaroni and cheese, with a Miami Vice to drink with a cherry tequila shot, with 8 crushed cherries! So delicious!!! (Bonus: I wasn’t judged for putting ketchup on my mac ‘n cheese!)
Talking with Joe, you get a real sense that this is exactly what he wants to do. He has a real passion that comes across in the service of this restaurant. He’s created an amazing restaurant with such an amazing and lovely atmosphere.
I didn’t want to share my new fave… I really wanted to keep it for myself. If you’re around Kensington, you should pop in. You won’t be disappointed!

This place just opened five days before and it was already bustling with people when we got there at 10pm. It’s quite small but very beautifully designed with saddle seats and a cool British telephone box as a door to the kitchen. The ceiling was made out of glass stars and glass bottles were used for light fixtures. A very cool setting and I loved it immediately. Another plus… great house music was playing (quite loud though). The staff were really friendly, especially the owner Joe. We ordered the amazing cocktail Miami Vice and the filling main of mac & cheese. I got the one with lobster and it was delicious, but could have done with a bit more salt. We shared the cookie and salted caramel ice-​cream dessert and was barely able to finish it, the cookie was the size of my head! Next time definitely be starving because the dishes will put you into a food coma. A very fun place and a good stop to go before clubbing.
