Pretty standard quality you might expect to find at a Starbucks but the servers seems to be extra friendly here, even early morning when you need that coffee to wake up!

This is probably a below average Starbucks. Nice customer service and reliable wifi but that’s where the good stuff ends. It’s cold and drafty, the bathroom is drab and there doesn’t seem to be any comfy chairs to sit in…

I like this particular store as it is cosy and a nice place to hide away un noticed with a book. On this occasion the person behind the till was especially friendly, hence I wrote a review in the first place. The lack of a fifth star is only because the very fact it is still a Starbucks chain, with all they essentially are, means I do not know what they could do to get the fifth? Maybe freshly instore made sandwiches would do it?

2 stars but really just an average Starbucks. With the interior being slightly more sterile than most in this chain there’s nothing to really excite, cheer or appreciate about this particular Starbucks. My Tea was uninspiring, the missus’ drink(I forget what it was) was quite bland and my scone was particularly dry. I wasn’t even offered jam or cream to aid my laboured chewing. It was warm inside. That part was nice and the tea was hot, that’s not really a bonus though. Soulless. Ian.

I can’t say it’s the best Starbucks ever. It seemed to be just like so many that I’ve visited in the UK and in the US — overpriced pastries and sandwiches with coffee that always seems to taste over-roasted and burned. Like other *$‘s, this one had ample space with a BT Openzone wifi and plenty of power outlets. I sat here for a while with my coffee and laptop, no one took much notice.

How one Starbucks can be so different from the next one is beyond me. I mean, with such extreme standardisation you shouldn’t think it’s possible. But every Starbucks regular knows the feeling of I-want-to-cry disappointment over a less-than-average tepid latte or that dry cappuccino, wet enough for you to drown yourself in it. Anyway, Starbucks Wigmore Street to the rescue! Anna and her team of(sincerely) merry coffeemakers will not only give you the best coffee in town. They’ll also cheer up your day and have you coming back for more!
