This restaurant is what I would call a posh indian, nothing like your local curry house that you go to after a few pints. And although the cost of a meal here is slightly more than elsewhere, the whole experience is so much better — this would definately be my indian restaurant of chocie in the clapham/wandsworth area. The family who run it are always friendly and welcoming and more than happy to accomodate the requests of the customers(and that includes making dishes that arent even on the menu!). The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with a clean and light and airy interior, a conservatory area out the back and they even have a real log fire that they often light throughout the winter months. The menu is fantastic with a good variety of dishes and they have a good beer selection as well. And the food is always so good that you end up eating far too much — you just cant stop yourself!
