Great service and friendly staff!!! I’m a very short sighted lawyer (queue the jokes) and managed to snap my glasses just before I was due in court. In a panic I went in to the Specsavers shop on the Strand who seeing my plight where able to make glasses for me whilst I waited, even though they were very busy at the time. Specsavers are not my normal opticians but having received the service and care that I did i’ll definitley be back. Brilliant job!!!

Avoid these charlatans like the plague. They are only interested in the money and do not know what they are doing a disgrace to the Specsavers brand. I recently purchased a pair of varifocal glasses and found that objects in the middle distance were out of focus. The advice from the dispensing optician was that I needed to buy new glasses and that only the most expensive lenses were worth having. I took my glasses into another optician who was able to quickly diagnose the fault, made a small adjustment to my glasses and I’ve had no problems since. I can recommend several other branches of Specsavers but avoid this one like the plague
