One of the main reasons we use the big chains for our eye tests (vision express, boots etc) is that you can walk into any branch, and with the gift of 20th centurey technology, you can access your prescription, order more contact lenses etc.
today, I tried to get a printout of my contact and glasses prescriptions, both done a few months ago, so having waited for the optician to become free, I was told it wasn’t possible as the tests were conducted at a different branch
Disgraceful service given that here is absolutely no technical reason it could not be done (they were happy in the past to sell me lenses using prescription accessed remotely). maybe this is geared at forcing more unnecessary eye tests. I’ll stick to Vision Express in future

Great value frames, and amazing customer service. The staff here really try to accommodate to your needs. Turnaround times very good to do you ate not waiting long.
