One of numerous high-​quality food providers run on church premises in London, The Refectory provides a lovely setting for lunch every day of the week from 12 – 3. The fresh salads, nutritious main courses, home-​made deserts and interesting holiday specials are reasonably priced. Portions are generous. Whether for those visiting the cathedral or working in the area, it’s a healthy choice. The colorful space with many windows gives a positive spirit to the setting.

Modern, clean premises with a friendly service, an oasis in a hectic lifestyle. You can eat outside in the gorgeous sunshine we had Tuesday, or if raining there are plenty of seats inside. There is a good selection of healthy light lunches, I opted for the wild rice salad with mediteranian vegatable (£3.75). I cannot find any reason for less than 5 stars.
