Snugg’s a funny little place. And I mean that in every way possible. This bar is in Brixton Village Market, so it’s easy to find with people always around it. However, it still tries to go for that loungey, divey, hidden away kind of feeling. Like it’s saying, «Don’t look at me. Don’t look at me! Ok, you can look… a little.» I was here for a quick glass of wine, so didn’t get to experience anything that this place is apparently well known for — live music, good eats, nice cocktails. But, the glass of wine that I did have was nice and well priced and the atmosphere in this location was excellent. Lively and fun. Plus, they are a giant supporter of supporting local businesses and always encouraging it on their social media, and that I like a lot. So while it’s not really a hidden or divey or secret spot, it kind of still wants to be and maybe, it kind of is. Either way, I like it.
