A shopping centre situated in a large and ugly seventies-style concrete monstrosity in the middle of Wood Green. Somehow it fits the image of the area well. The building is massive, yet the space inside has n’t been utilized to it’s best potential. There is a large multi-level car park as a part of this complex, charging a very reasonable rate of £2 per day. The shops are catering to the low to mid level of the market. Again, appropriate for the area. There is a large Boots store with it’s own separate entrance, as well as a small selection of high street chains, mainly on the ground level. The department store looks very dated, but there are some great bargains to be had in the kitchen section, if you can get over all the tacky stuff you’ll encounter on your way there. Upstairs you can find a couple of hairdressers, more retail stores and a small food court. The cinema complex is also a part of this shopping centre. There’s nothing here worth making a special trip for, but if you live in the area, you might want to check it out for some good bargains.

This is a nice decent sized shopping centre. It has a range of well known stores including topshop, boots, Woolworths, has a cinema and a whole load of restaurants and fast food outlets such as burger king. There is a high street surrounding the shopping centre which has stores such as mk one, marks and Spencer, Sainsbury, krisp and Jane Norman and there is also another cinema called the showcase further up the high street. It is a good place to shop in north London not far from Tottenham, seven sisters and Finsbury Park. The shopping centre has two floors, ground and first and has something for everyone really. It is a modernised shopping centre too.

I love Shopping City as it has LOADS of shops and great eating places. When I need a bit of retail therapy it is definately the place I go to. I spend the entire day there and probably woill go back the next day. My husband dreads me going there as he knows its my little world of heaven and that I cant control my spending. But its definately a shop til you drop place.

The Shopping City was in great condition, as me and a couple friends went to watch ‘Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging’. The seats were pretty comfortable and the workers were extremely polite. But i did have a few complaints, the food was extremely expensive and wasnt very nice at that. there were a few disruptive and loud people who were not dealt with by the door guards which i thought was appauling. but overall everything was wuite good. The volume and screenings was absolutely perfect and the films they are presenting at the moment are also very entertaining.
