Sermoneta Gloves

For that really unusual gift for someone who already has everything, Sermoneta came through in a clutch way. Thanks to a recommendation from a friend, I popped in here for a truly last-​minute birthday present for my mum, who was visiting merry old England at the time.
This shop primarily sells leather gloves and scarves of all shapes, colours, and sizes. Driving gloves, casual gloves, silk-​lined gloves, fur-​lined gloves — you name it, they probably have it. Unfortunately, the style that I liked most wasn’t available in the right colour, so I settled for an alternative modern styled pair instead.
Also, gratefully, they do have a pretty straightforward exchange policy. The lady working the shop said that we didn’t even need the receipt, as they could recognise their own gloves if you brought them in. Good thing, too… because we apparently guessed wrong on the glove size. So my parents took a wander down to Chelsea to make the exchange. Shortly thereafter, they discovered that there was a defect with the pair they exchanged to, and went back –again– for yet another pair.
The moral of the story is this: if you can’t think of any other gifts and you –don’t– think your giftee has a pair of beautiful Italian leather gloves, drop by Sermoneta for a quick fix. Just make sure to inspect your purchase carefully, as not every pair of gloves is manufactured perfectly.
