Have been coming to this place for years, best fish and chips in east London! Prices are reasonable and service is good. It’s a clean premises, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Cod fish (as far as i know) doesnt even have scales on it, so not sure what reviewer below is talking about? :/​yeah it’s got skin, but like chicken, you dont have to eat that part?
Cod and chips is £8.00 to eat in (£7 to take away), and that’s a meal that’ll keep you going all day (unlike McD’s or chicken shops in area). If you’re not a fan of fish then try one of their beef sausages and chips (i think about £3 to take out?) delicious. You dont get more authentic than this place, they’ve even got gherkins, curry sauce, and mushy peas!
I cannot recommend this place enough, just wish i lived closer, i’d eat there everyday!
