The restaurant is usually very busy but the staff always manages to make you feel special. The dishes are incredibly presented and the atmosphere here is great. I can say the prices are affordable and the interior is unique. Highly recommend this place!

Had boxing day lunch here, all three courses were very good. Special note to the passion fruit crème brûlée :-) One of the better places we’ve found in North London. Tip: there are 2⁄3 courses fixed price meals from the a la carte menus, go for those!

Took a table of eight here for lunch last week. One of us was a one year old girl who had great fun. The food was, in the main, very, very good. The wines were worth the money too. Attentive and polite staff. A little difficult to find convenient parking. I have been here a few times over the last couple of years and their standards have remained at a very acceptable level. Recommended.

A visit to Savoro last night — my first for two or three years — and I have to say, again, that it’s the best restaurant in my northern neck of the woods. And if there’s a better place for fish anywhere in London, tell me now. Fritoo Misto featured the best whitebait I’ve ever eaten. My chargrilled calamari — with a yoghurt raita — gave the least possible resistance and delivered a satisfying blend of the Med and Asia. The halibut was impeccable– big, pearlescent, creamy flakes of fish — backed up with perfect asparagus and a deliciously fatty dauphinoise. The only downside? They’ve stopped doing the funky ice creams. My first visit a few years ago ended with scoops of pandan leaf, sesame, and oak-smoked banana and chocolate chip ice-creams. Yesterday I got decent homemade sorbets of mango, lemon and strawberry. Well made but not quite as exciting. However that was easy to forgive when the bill arrived. Four people — including three courses apiece(and including a steak and a big lump of halibut), two G&Ts, three sides, three bottles of very pleasing wine, two Irish coffees and service — and a final tally of £209. I find that very hard to argue with.
