I had told my husband that I had been craving a good pizza and been wanting to try Sandy’s Pizza. Food: We ordered the margarita and the solenzara pizzas. Both were classic and delicious. Perfect size for one person. Drinks: We ordered one glass of prosecco and one glass of red wine. Price: 45.96GBP for two people. Ambiance: The restaurant feels very family run and comfortable. It’s not very big and was full on a Saturday evening. Service: The service was very attentive and friendly. Would I go back? Definitely. Everything about this neighbourhood restaurant was great.

Sandy’s is my favourite neighborhood restaurant/pizzeria. Firstly, the pizza is a thin crust, slightly charred at the edges, and full of flavour. I love th carmelised onions as a topping — in fact, the onion pizza is my favourite pizza. The people who run the restaurant are super nice and friendly. It’s the kind of place that treats you well because it’s run by nice people. Prices for the pizzas range from £8 to £13. The starters are simple but nice. There are some pasta options also. If you are living or visiting around the area and would like a nice, cosy friendly restaurant with good pizza — stop by Sandy’s. Vegetarian friendly — there are lots of options here. The pizzas can be customised with your favourite toppings.

super quaint restaurant tucked on a quiet street. sandy’s offers a simple menu but what they do offer is thoughtfully prepared pizzas. on a wednesday night, the crowd was mostly couples or groups of 4. it seems like it could be a «cheers» like place where everyone knows your name. we’ll definitely go back for more!

Stumbled upon this place and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the décor, intimate feel and the tastiest pizza ever. Priced a bit more than your standard chain pizza places but well worth it. Lovely wine too. I was here early in the evening so I can’t compare notes with the other reviewer but we had really friendly service. Recommended!

I liked the rustic yet simple and modernistic décor, the pizza was perfectly good, the toilets were probably the cleanest I’d seen in any pizza place, but I didn’t appreciate the rushed to the point of rude service. We rocked up at about 9.45 from an event nearby. A note on the door said that last orders on a Friday were at 10.30. We politely asked if they could fit us in, they said yes. There place was quite busy, but there was a table for the three of us. However, things went wrong about half way through our main course — by which point most of the other diners had finished and were paying up. They started clearing our glasses away, without even asking if we’d like anything else. As soon as I finished the pizza, the plate was gone — swept away from me — as my friends were still eating. The icing on the cake was the glass of red wine in front of me, which I was finishing up(and enjoying) — as I put it down, one last swig left, that too was stolen away! We’d had enough by that point so just left — we knew we weren’t wanted. I’d probably only go back if they have different waiting staff next time.
