This place is an absolute finding. The coffee is really good, very well prepared(take it from a compulsive drinker). Definitely recommend the vanilla chai latte if you’re not a coffee fan. Haven’t tried the food but looks amazing. Only not so good point is the costumer service. No one was ever rude to me but I think they could only benefit with being a bit more friendly. The ordering system is rather confusing as well(reminds me of a Southern European café where you order at the table but then you’re asked to order at the counter and they bring it at the table). Don’t go if you want a hipster-like independent coffee shop. Definitely recommend if you’re after good coffee rather than a good coffee place.

So, I Unilocaled this place before going so I kinda knew what I got myself into. I don’t have much to say because most have been said by other Unilocalers. I do, however, want to say that if you don’t stop by this place you’re missing out on something great! The staff were really nice and I ordered a chorizo panini with a Peroni beer on the side; it.was.DeLICIOUS! Would definitely recommend it to others and go here again next time I’m in London.

Can’t really rate this place any higher to be honest. Possibly the best hot chocolate in London. I came twice in a day and tried the regular and also the white chocolate and both were stunning. I also had a bite of my friends chicken wrap and it was sublime.

Lovely bustling Italian café. Excellent coffee and great breakfast. Good value too. The paninis on display looked very appetising and I will definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

Cheap like chips. But, more likely, sandwiches. Handmade. Fresh. Lovely. Now with juice. Right on the corner, family-run, and in their 19th year. What more to say?

We all know how much I love my family run business right? Well, I’ve found another one! Sat neatly on the corner where Brixton Road, meets Brixton Station Road you’ll find San Marino. Modern, airy and well thought out to feed people in a comfortable, no frills environment. I think the huge, almost floor to ceiling windows help puts diners at easy, that, and the archetypal Italian grandmother on the till. Together with generous portions and friendly staff, all adds to the Brixton love this place receives from the locals. Solid four stars and looking forward to heading back to type lunch and their legdary coffee. Ciao for now!

A great Italian café run by Mario and his family from Sicily. Welcoming atmosphere, great coffee, great panini and pastries; all this and free WiFi!
