Salt and Pepper Events is a catering and event staffing agency, serving all areas in and around London. We provide professionally trained staff such as waiting staff, barmen, mixologists, hostesses and chefs, for private parties and corporate events. We are determined to provide excellent customer service at all levels and are growing very quickly due to our great attention to details, personalised approach and flexibility.

History

Established in 2011.

Having been set up to address the gap in London market for high quality waiting and hospitality staff for hire, Salt and Pepper Events is a family run business with Alan Calzari in charge. Our services have been designed to match the demands of small and medium sized catering companies, and businesses holding various events, as well as private customers organising their own weddings and house parties. Apart from staffing, we are happy to offer advice on venues, equipment hire and general event planning.

Business Owner

Alan Calzari is the Founder and Director of Salt and Pepper Events. After gaining his valuable catering experience and acquiring necessary skills in Italy Alan made up his mind to develop his career in London where he has lived for the past 9 years. Prior to setting up the company Alan worked at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, including their Michelin star restaurant, Foliage and the Mandarin Bar, and at Swissotel The Howard where at the time of leaving he was in charge of Food and Beverage operations. This experience gave him a strong background in F&B in particular in fine dining and banqueting. Alan possesses a WSET advanced certificate and is a personal licence holder.
