This is a good place to get the basic fridge and cupboard fillers, sometimes they have some good deals and the staff is always happy to help if you can’t find what your looking for. They have a good selection of fruit and veg and not least a decent selection of alcohol. And Even if you have broken all your glasses, pots and pans In your kitchen you will have a small selection here :) Some times the queues can be a bit long but normally they are fairly quick. Good local Sainsburys all in all.

There once was a girl who used to do her grocery shopping at Tesco. She didn’t really like the food there, the fruits and vegetables weren’t fresh, and she resulted to microwave meals. However, one day the girl FINALLY decided to walk into this Sainbury’s on her way home from school, and her London cuisine has changed ever since… What makes Sainbury’s better is that it is full of variety(lots of different international cuisine, different pastries, pastas, and breads), FRESH food(a fresh buffet with take away and lots of ready fruits and vegetables), and tons of discounts and deals(many 2 items for 3 pounds and 3 items for 5 pounds). Also, this location has numerous cooking utensils and cooking ware if you need to pick something up for a specific dish and a large alcohol selection including deals on wine and liquor.

Huge Sainsbury’s, very good for finding late a tnight bargains when you’re waiting at the bus stop across the road. Had a lot of stuff reduced after Christmas. Tends to be a huge queue of people at the checkout though, you can’t really pick a till, just join this snake of people. Lots of baked products near the front, booze at the rear of the store.
