This place is super cold and it smells like a corral. Not nice to be working there for hours packing and unpacking.
But if you are looking for storage solutions, it will do.

I stored a few boxes with Safestore last summer, and while it’s not the cheapest storage option, the prices were reasonable the service was very good. They kept all my things safe and were helpful with moving them in and out. They also do discounted student prices which is great.

A storage unit is a storage unit is a storage unit is a storage unit… until you put a fantastic staff behind it. Then it’s like going to your random buddy’s house with the big garage where you keep all your old crap. Dare I say going to my storage unit is… fun?
We initially choose Safestore Pentonville because of location, and whatever great deal they had on at the time. They have the benefit of being very central, with the added bonus of a parking lot. 24-​hour access was a must, and turns out these fine folks will sign for all of our packages and keep them nice and safe until we’re able to come in and pop them in our unit.
Which, I might add, is crucial for the protection of our high end goods such as Unilocal sticks, tote bags, Elite lunch boxes, concrete gnomes, pink gorilla costumes, badges, stickers, fans, nail files, plastic cups, banners…
… you know, the usual stuff everyone stores.

Friendly helpful staff who help out whenever they can and understand that people are usually pretty stressed out when they are in the middle of moving stuff in and out of storage — they’ll even accept deliveries on your behalf and store them away for you to collect when you’re ready.

This isn’t the easiest business to get excited about but they certainly deserve it. The customer service has always been top notch. You can get in and out when you need and the attendants always inform you when a new delivery arrives. Even if you cannot get there to deal with the package yourself, they can put it in temporary storage for you.
I can not ascertain how cost effective they are in comparison to other storage houses, but the cost of their boxes, packing material etc… are competitive.
I am yet to have a single complaint about this Pentonville Road store.

Never underestimate the power of friendly staff. Seriously, these guys make this place 4 stars with the help they provide you with.
For one this storage unit is so central it’s really easy to get too, also it has 24 hour access so even if you need to get in at crazy hours you can. But what I love about this place so much is the yellow and blue…
Okay this is a really silly review but seriously, I can’t count the times that this place has helped me there are so many. My experience of storage is limited but if its anything else like this, it better than my cellar!
