The food here is great, the pizza dough is very fluffy and tasty and they are great at accommodating substitutions with pizza toppings. The dessert was good too, I did not know what to expect with a Nutella tiramisu but it was surprisingly nice. The coffee biscuit base was perfect and the Nutella added a nutty twist on the flavour… you can’t go wrong with Nutella! 4 stars because the service was quite slow it took ages to bring out all the desserts so one of us finished her dessert while the rest of us were waiting for them to bring ours. Also no freshly squeezed juices which is a shame because I think it would be great to be able to have freshly squeezed orange/carrot/apple juice with the great food here. They do Italian movie nights at certain times of the year which I have yet to try but is a fantastico idea! Looking forward to trying that out :)

My first foray into Rossopomodoro, which seems odd as I’ve lived near them for ages apparenlty. The menu is pretty straight-forward with pizzas, pastas and starters to share. We went for a buffalo mozzarella and proscuitto bruscetta to start and I had a seafood pasta, which in all fairness to them, tastes the same as I would expect when I’m in Italy. It was pretty quiet when we came in, so maybe there’s a different story when it’s busy(just perusing the other reviews) but it was an ideal place for a sunday lunch with a few campari spritz and the sun shining outside.

Rossopomodoro is located just a few doors down form Carluccio’s. I think of both in a similar light — Italian chains that are easy and casually chic. Staff are friendly and helpful, portions are generous. I’ve had quite different experiences on my 2 visits in terms of the food. The first time, I had pizza, and that was good, made in their own pizza oven and with a thin base. The second time the dishes that we ordered were all over salted. Perhaps it was just a rogue chef, but it has put us off, certainly if not ordering pizza.

One of the best Italian restaurants around. The pizzas are great but their true gems are the different kinds of pasta they offer. I especially love the Fusillo. You should try it if you are in the area they have the most amazing meals.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming to families with young children. Pizza is very good and often served slightly undercooked by my standards. Ask for it to be well cooked and it gets really good. A very solid local quality pizza joint for the real Italian pizza.

Went with two others. We had pizza and salad. All were pretty good. Better than the average chain. Definitely have dessert. Would go again if in the area, but not worth going the extra mile.

I had just spent the morning corroborating with a fellow ex-Bay Area native on favorite pizza spots of times past, agreeing on our favorite chicago style joint(Zachary’s) and NY style(Gioia), and lamenting the lack of acceptable joints in our vicinity. Well, he was quick to suggest a spot to fill my fix, although, he warned, it was the best Italian-style he had found, and so it was to expand my repertoire of favorites and not replace them. Fair enough! Lead on. Rosso Pomodoro certainly walks the walk, a giant wood oven dominating the room, all decked out in golden tile, the deserved celebrity in the room. My pizza arrived piping hot, the sum of its very fresh and powerful tasting ingredients coming together to reward my taste buds with a pizza better than many I had in Rome. The sauce was rich with tomato but not acidic or sweet, the crust thin and crispy but yet with body enough to tear into as you finish your slice. I can’t speak of the other pastas or items on the menu, but the pizza. humm.

A classic, one of the best pizza in Chelsea. Price is very decent. Perfect for a sunday dinner after an early cinema which is near by in Fulham road. Nothing extraordinary but it defenetly tick a lot of boxes.

I’ll start by saying I come here only for the pizza so I can’t speak for the rest of the menu. The pizza is out of this world good! I’ve had(supposedly) the«best» pizza in Napoli and this is as close as you get in London(in my humble opinion).

Ok so I haven’t been here as recently as the other reviewers but I have been here twice. The second time I was keen to give it a go again as I had heard good things.(Our first trip was truly hideous) The whole experience was terrible, awful service it took forever to get served, then the food took ages and was simply terrible. The thing is it is always packed so maybe I know nothing, but I can’t bring myself to give it a third go.

I’m Italian and this is one of the best pizzas I ever had. Of course I was in need of some good old italian food and that might be the reason why I loved it so much, but anyway this is A REALLYGOODPIZZA, and a real one. Haven’t tryed anything else but all looked very good!
