The group care division will help you find nursery, crèche and early years staff, our emergency desk operates from 7.30am to respond when things do not go as planned.

Our training company is a Cache accredited training centre delivering childcare qualification training both in our training room and in your setting.

Paediatric first aid and first aid for the elderly is taught across london on both public dates and on private dates in your setting or to private parent groups in their family home.

Jill Wheatcroft our co-​founder is a lecturer in Child Health teaches offers year-​round parenting know-​how sessions alongside private consultancy service to individuals.

History

Established in 1989.

Co-​founders Jill Wheatcroft and Gaby Morris combined their extensive knowledge of childcare, lecturing in child health and Human Resources together to create a multifaceted resource for families. Early ‘new’ residents in the regeneration of East London opening their company as plans for the redevelopment of Canary Whalf and Docklands were announced.

They created a service that reflected the needs of new residents, a mix of people working in creative fields who needed flexible childcare through to the new workforce of Canary Whalf and the City of London. The systems and services created then are still relevant today as working patterns become more complex. Riverside Cares now offers its services across the whole of London and in parts of Essex.

Parenting know how, supporting Stay At Home Dads, teaching Safeguarding, carrying out DBS checks, teaching accredited childcare training and finding a childcarer for your nursery or family home at 7.30 am all happen in a typical week.
