Rich Nails

A good job on the nails but extremely poor customer service. I had booked earlier that afternoon, and when I came along it seemed a shock. The technicians were talking in their own language and it seemed as though they were deciding on who had to do my nails. I was told to sit down with a young guy who was clearly unhappy that he had to do my nails this late on in the day. He was muttering, tutting, rude, abrupt and unwelcoming. The shop was untidy and there was no mention that it was cash only. It was my first time here, and I didn’t feel welcome at all. I shall be returning to my usual nail salon else where at least I get a ‘Hello’.

Fine job on my pedicure, the technicians were nice and quick but didn’t mention it was cash only until after the service was complete, which was annoying. They immediately told me where to go for a cash machine so must be aware that not everyone carries cash, maybe post the policy or mention upfront? A little pricey (£23) given the fact that salon is not a very pleasant place (small, bare, cluttered with supplies). I’m also a little wary about the cleanliness, used to seeing tools treated and in packets or barbicide to indicate they are sterilised but the tools were all laid out on a cloth together. Will not go back.

The pedicure was fine but the shop is very unkempt. There was litter on the ground and they reused tools on different customers. Not a good value.

I’ve been to this salon twice, now, and I was very pleased with both experiences. On the first occasion, I had a regular manicure and pedicure. On the second, a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The techs who worked on my nails were very thorough, speedy, and my nails looked flawless upon leaving the salon, and for several days thereafter. I was even impressed with how long the regular manicure lasted, and particularly since I wash my hands just about 800 times each day. Anyhow, I highly recommend this spot. Quality is great, speed is great, and the prices are more reasonable than the pricier spas in Chiswick.

If there was 3.5 stars, that would be what I’d choose.
I really liked the girl that did my manicure, she was so quick and did a great job and I couldn’t stop looking at my nails for the next few hours because I was so happy with the result. And that for just 10 pounds! Awesome.
But then there are some negative points:
1. my friend was not as lucky with her treatment. The girl that did hers was slow and didn’t really pay attention. She was more busy talking to her colleagues in a language neither me nor my friend understood and the result was not that great.
2. The studio looks a bit chaotic with too much stuff in it
3. I think they need a receptionist, since the phone was constantly ringing and they always had to stop the treatment to answer it.
They do offer a lot of things all to do with beauty and it is a good price but you have to be lucky to get to the right person.
