I work in this area and let me tell you… for some reason, decent cafes and places to eat are hard to find (It’s Westminster, for heaven’s sake!). Ravello is a pretty good base for all your quick lunch needs. I highly recommend their red velvet cake and their gluten free brownies, along with their Tiramisu latte for a bad day.
Also, their morning coffee queue is the fastest moving queue I’ve ever been in. Seriously. It is probably only a three star place, but gets a 4th simply based on the fact I get my coffee within 3 minutes of ordering (take THAT Starbucks!!!)

A basic sandwich shop but fast and convenient.
Walking distance from the hotel we stayed at (Doubletree on John Islip) we stopped and grabbed a sandwich, chips, drink and then walked over to London Eye.
The sandwich was less than £4 which was a nice price.
I got a tuna salad sandwich which was slightly toasted so it was tasty.
We paid in cash– quick and easy.
