raddisson edwardian hotel

When entering the hotel we felt like we were in a vegas casino in the eighties, there are over the top chandaliers and lots of marble pillars. Far too much for essentially what is an airport hotel.
The rooms are more low key but you can easily spend half your stay finding you way around the very long, dark corridors.
We ate at the resturant which was fine, the food and servce good but quite expensive, same with the bar good drinks menu but high prices.
To get to the airport there is a shuttle bus but it costs £4 each for each way so is very over priced and also not that quick if traffic is heavy.
Im not sure we would use the hotel again as we would prefer somewhere closer to the terminal however if you have a day or so between flights its a good option, and the room prices are very fair.
