Description

Specialties

Purple Turtle Diving is a PADI scuba diving centre based in West Norwood, South London. We specialise in helping people build confidence in their scuba diving and emergency first response abilities, whether they are taking their first breaths under water or learning new, specialist skills.

We focus in running the courses for small groups of students to ensure everyone has quality time with our qualified and experienced staff, and that we can tailor the courses to the participant’s needs. The majority of the courses we teach are PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) and EFR (Emergency First Response) courses, who are worldwide leaders in scuba diving and CPR and First Aid training.

We offer courses from beginner (e.g. PADI Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water) to specialities (e.g. PADI Dry Suit Diver, Wreck Diver, Deep Diver and Underwater Navigator) to professional (e.g. PADI Divemaster) to Technical courses (e.g. DSAT Tec40) and First Aid (e.g. EFR First Aid and CPR)

History

Established in 2011.

Purple Turtle Diving was founded in 2011 by Toni, who is passionate about her scuba diving and her teaching. Purple Turtle Diving is a PADI Dive Centre that has been based at Amphibian Sports in West Norwood, South London since October 2013.

We run the theory portions of our courses in our designated classroom, which means we can run custom courses to your requirements. We are also able to run your courses across the UK and abroad. Purple Turtle Diving prides itself on educating divers in small groups, to get the most out of their diving experiences in a safe and fun way. We have a strong focus on quality training and adhering to the most rigid safety procedures and guidelines.

Meet the Business Owner

Toni N.

Business Owner

I founded Purple Turtle Diving to allow me to run PADI and EFR courses utilising the highest safety standards and giving all students ample time to master the skills, as well as ensuring students have time to discuss other diving related topics with the Purple Turtle Diving staff, ranging from travel to other courses that may be of interest.

All of the staff at Purple Turtle Diving have been selected due to their passion about the sport (we’re all keen divers, not just educators), their diving experience (not just teaching!) and their strict adherence to safety guidelines. When we’re not working we can often be found underwater — whether in a pool, a quarry or the ocean!
