Tonight all the food runner services were overloaded, so we decided to just order direct from Pritiraj which is local. Unfortunately, this is the worst Indian food I have ever tasted in my life. I couldn’t even eat it. We ordered butter chicken, which was several large chunks of meat suspended in a thick, opaque, orange-coloured sauce. The rice pilaf also tasted odd — how do you get rice wrong? This was paired with onion bhaji which were large oily dumplings. The oil needs changing. The vegetable samosas were very anaemic looking as they were under-cooked. The naan was edible, but paying £15 to eat bread for dinner was not what I was after. Very disappointed and won’t try again.

Man, utensils. I’m rounding up to 4-stars because the food was damn good and these guys were stellar friendly, but UTENSILS. I literally ordered delivery to my new flat and have NO silverware! I needed a fork! And a spoon! Or something! A stick even! I ordered via and was compelled by their 20 percent off on all online orders. Hmmmmm, nice! There was some confusion… which I actually think was UB’s fault, but Pritiraj called me twice to try to rectify the over charge and sort the order, PLUS sent an email and connected me to a customer service guy. It was only a few pounds… almost equal to the discount, but I really appreciated the effort. And the delivery guy was really nice. *Chicken Tikka Massala £6.45(too full! I will eat as leftovers and report back) *Cauliflower Bhaji £2.95(yum. such a good value and nice portions) *Plain Nan £1.80(standard) *Murgee Massala(with egg) —(YUM! so incredible! scarfed the whole thing) So while I was originally pretty annoyed with the lack of flatware, I forgave them after drinking the lam Murgee Masala. Four stars and I’ll order again. Plus get back home to eat the leftovers. Since, its the only thing in the kitchen.

This restaurant is a gem. The food has always been superb, the service is impeccable. My favourite Indian restaurant in Islington.

If your idea of good Indian food is meat swimming in red coloured oil, this place is for you. I can’t attest to the taste, because I had to send it back. Honestly, it was just a bucket of oil and some meat floating around. The delivery guy was really nice and friendly, so that’s a plus I guess!

i have visited the restaurant today at the lunch period and have had an express lunch which is a 2 course meal which was an amazing deal for only £4.50, the meal came on one plate which was presented very beautifully and tasted very good! i am 100% sure to visit them again with friends and family.

Replacing Biryani, we were hopeful that this Indian restaurant could deliver equally good food. We found that it is actually even better and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. Have eaten in the restaurant a few times now with the excellent value lunch menu and also got take out. As with its predecessor the food is lighter than other places and very flavoursome. Worth a visit!
