If you’re looking for a healthy lunch, Pod(like Leon) though I prefer has some really tasty boxes to eat in or take out. Good loyalty system too. I always go for the protein box filled with prawn, chicken, seeds and boiled egg.

I ended up in Pod after walking down Leather Lane with a friend and finding nothing which struck our fancies. We both grabbed an energy bowl, which is a combination of beans, veggies and other good stuff in a stewish form, and served for lunch. It was quite tasty, and certainly felt healthy. We sat out on the patio area and enjoyed the sun. The service was nice, though of course it’s just counter serving. The restaurant is clean, and probably as good an option as any when you’re a busy person in the neighborhood for a healthy option. Nothing too fancy about it, but nothing to complain about either.

Great place, love the tea steppers, I could get used to these teas, I had an orange juice, ginger and honey stepper, it was a great pick me up for first thing in the morning, the staff were friendly and helpful and the outside seating was a great people watching zone.

Nice healthy food quick. Not the tastiest, not the cheapest, but a decent place to pop in for a lunch. On the up side, everything’s fairly fresh, it doesn’t sit in the cooler, mouldering away, and there’s fresh peas & soya beans on top of brown rice. On the down side, the food’s not that flavourful(hello, green curry?) and has been mouldering away in a steam pan of some sort — the chicken I had in the curry had essentially fallen apart. Grand, not fab. Glad it’s there as an alternative to the other faceless sandwich shops.
