My hubby and I love this place! We are pizza fanatics and ever since we moved to London, we have been looking for good pizza outside the obvious chains(Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, etc.) Neither of us had tried Pizza Express before so we weren’t sure what to expect. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t packed, which was nice. The atmosphere was calm and romantic with the dimmed lights and candles on every table. We were seated promptly and had our drink order taken quickly as well. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on frequently throughout our meal. It was fun watching the cook make our pizzas and put them in the huge brick oven. Once we got our food, our waitress once again checked on us and brought out lots of cheese for my husband, who mentioned to her previously that he eats Parmesan cheese like he drinks water! Our food was great! You can tell they use quality ingredients in their food. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth it. Before we left, the manager checked on us and we made sure to compliment how great the service and food was. I can’t wait till we go back!

Great pizza selection, good prices and wonderful service. A nice place for families. We ordered the Rustichella Pizza and two Cokes for about £20 and it was just enough for two adults.

I’ve eaten in Pizza Express more times than I care to remember. Yes, it’s not the best pizza you’ll ever eat but for me it’s unbeatable. Reliably good, clean and a great place to grab a quick bite. Look out for their weekend offers — they’re pretty good value.

As parent, this place is the shiznit. I can get something green and healthy for myself, and my kid can order something greasy from the menu bimbi and everyone is happy. Good service, nice atmosphere if you sit outside(I love Pimlico!) and extra fresh mint tea.

I normally wouldn’t rate chains like Pizza Express, but I really wanted to rate this one for its super solid food and AMAZING service. My bf and I happen to come here a lot, because it’s literally a 2min walk from my place and it accepts Taste Card. So point number one: if you live in Pimlico and own a Taste Card, your life just got that much easier and better. Second, the food is consistently solid. As I said, we happen to go here relatively frequently, and they have always delivered on their menu rain or shine. Third, I love the ambience. This particular one has a very cozy, homey feel to it – almost as if it’s just a mom-and-pop type of pizza shop. Finally and most importantly, I’ve never experienced such amazing service — all from different servers. They’re eager to help and make(great) suggestions on the menu. They’re prompt and consistently checking on you to make sure that everything is okay. They even make smiley faces with the salad dressing just because! I’ll definitely be coming back here again and again.

Wow. Now I have been with a lot of bad Pizza in Montréal, Canada, but the regular chicken-grilled-veggie-sundried tomato pizza was really excellent. I love this place.

With some of the best service in town I will be making many trips back to this Pizza Express, and that is coming from someone who usually decides on something other than pizza. It is always nice to go to a restaurant where the staff know the customers by name, as well as little comments like«see you on Tuesday» or «see you next week». Clientele included high end business types(you know what I mean, suit, pink shirts, black vest with red silk back) as well as families with their young children. Perfect for a date night.

Exactly what you’d expect from a chain pizza house. Reliable, standard menu, acceptable wine list, child friendly.

We all know Pizza Express right? Affordable, realiable pizza and pasta. This is a small, cosy, cute branch and it’s always jammed — whatever day of the week you go and whatever time. Probably because you can always pick up some sort of special offer online, so it’s a great bargainous midweek meal out on a ‘I can’t be bothered to cook’ night.

This is one of many Pizza Express chain restaurants but is in Pimlico, tucked away in a quiet little suburban street on the Pimlico triangle. It is a small restaurant and can get quite noisy due to the hard surfaces everywhere. Tis a safe, cheapish pizza eatery.

Went using a 2-for-1 voucher from The Times after seeing a show at the nearby Apollo Victoria Theatre. Restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly by the manager who was friendly. Very efficient service, we were served our food in good time despite the fact that all the tables were full. Nice family atmosphere, would visit again if I was in the area.
