I recently went to Pink Crust for a shellac manicure. Thankfully I had a Groupon voucher and didn’t have to pay full price because it was the worst manicure I have ever received. The tools used were not clean (the salon wasn’t particularly clean either), there were not many colors to choose from, the technician was not friendly at all and the quality of the manicure was extremely poor. Nothing was done to my cuticles, hardly any shaping was done to my nails at all and it was so rough and uneven I had to re-​file my nails as soon as I got home. I was not offered any lotion and left with extremely dry hands and there were lots of bubbles in my manicure.
Also, scheduling with salon was annoying and inconvenient. You have to e-​mail them and they are often unresponsive and don’t offer alternative appointment times when what you’ve requested isn’t available.
I don’t care how good of a deal the Groupon or Living Social voucher is – this place is not worth it!
