The neon sign from the outside was inviting, Pimlico Village looked like a cute, independent café!… I ordered an English Breakfast tea, a bottle of mineral water and a sandwich to have in. My sandwich was cut into small squares which was quite a nice touch, food tasted alright, however I have tasted better in other cafes at similar prices. Unfortunately, the waitress forgot my English Breakfast tea and carried on serving other customers! I had to remind her, she didn’t bat an eyelid and the service didn’t come with a smile that’s for sure. A group of suspicious-looking characters kept coming and going from the back-room(VERY annoying). . maybe they were gangsters! Overall, 2/5, below average. Pimlico Village could be a lovely little café with better food and customer service.

Convenient is about as good as it gets. Plastic tables and chairs straight from a garden centre certainly raised an eyebrow and all cramped in at the back of the shop raised the other. Service was adequate as was the latte; nothing special and nothing top complain about. Go back again; only if I can’t something else.

I know the owner’s son and I’m familiar with the owner; I can say that the son is really nice and helpful if you need something like how to send a fax, to go about connecting to the internet. I do agree with the muffin comment; the muffins here are very good. Regarding the staff, I haven’t met anyone who is overly friendly. However, generally the girls working here are nice. I once ordered a salad, and the owner asked one of the girls to go next door to get some olive oil, so to me, that was going above and beyond; I don’t think that salads were even on the menu. But regarding the food, it would be so nice if there were other options, as in even having food prepared on site via cooking, etc. But I understand those costs can be a lot regarding business licenses and such. Also, it’s too bad that there isn’t more seating, especially upstairs, but I’ve noticed that most cafes only have limited seating.

Surly customer service and no internet. Coffee is not great either.

This place is great as an internet café. I used it before we had internet hooked up in our house. They seem to have all the working gadgets necessary and is much nicer(but a pound or so pricier) than the other places where you can use internet in the area. Of course, if you have your own laptop, just hop into a pub and forget the term internet café altogether. The food here, however is not good. Period. I had a sandwich and it was awful. 5 stars as an internet hub, 1 star for food. We’ll call it even and give it 3 stars.

Great coffee but the place suffers from awkward seating and a lack lustre selection of treats and snacks. Sandwiches are ok and they do some hot food but it’s all microwaved. Giving it three stars though as I buy a coffee here every morning it really is very good. The place is also an internet café and has some computers downstairs.

Forget the coffee here it’s the worst! I have given this coffee shop a couple chances only cause it’s so close to my home, I’ve asked for a latte sometimes, others for a cappuccino and I always get over heated milk, with bland coffee; the only thing good about this place this place is that they have an Internet café, which in an emergency works wonders, and you can print and use the fax as well. It’s also really well located just outside the Pimlico tube. One thing that is good, if you must ingest anything from this place, the blueberry muffins, those are good.
