PCF is a local regeneration Not for Profit Company aiming to create an empowered multi-cultural community in Deptford through enterprise support and green projects.
Project 1 — Resident, Education, Employment, Training and Advice (REETA), which is also a part of the Employment and Training Consortium (ETC).
Project 2 — John Evelyn Community Garden (JECG), is an ‘oasis’ in an urban context. We are creating a Pepys Community Orchard, with the Big Tree Plant, to increase the green canopy of the UK.
PCF advocates on planning and regeneration, as well as supporting people and the local community to do things for themselves.
History
Established in 2000.
Under Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) Round 5, as an Unincorported Body.
The Board was formed in April 2000, being 100% led by local people.
PCF successfully delivered an SRB Programme of over £3m between 2000⁄2006.
PCF became a Company Limited by Guarantee and Not for Profit in 2004.
PCF Registered as a specialist regeneration Charity in 2007.
