PAPERWORK is a new independent bookshop based at WORK Gallery in King’s Cross.

PAPERWORK stocks the full range of beautifully produced art, architecture, photography, fashion and design titles from our affiliate publishers Black Dog Publishing Limited and Artifice Books on Architecture.

In addition, PAPERWORK carries a selection of Critical Theory titles essential to students of the arts, including key works by practicing artists, theorists and curators on visual culture, postmodernism, aesthetics, philosophy, sexuality and much more.

We also have a curated list of artists’ books and editions from around the world, including small presses such as Book Works in London, Printed Matter and Dexter Sinister in New York and READ in Vancouver.

Alongside WORK and Black Dog Publishing, we produce a public programme of artist talks, panel discussions, performances and book signings. More information about the AfterWORK Events Series can be found on our website.
